I am a freshman majoring in Biology: Neurology and Physiology. While I think that both society and technology are interconnected and influence one another, I believe that overall, society is leading the development of new technology. With radical technological development, society is doing its best to contribute to the general public by pursuing new medical advances. The society is also using these new technological advances to ease the everyday complications of the general public, therefore enhancing the quality of consumers' lifestyles. While we as consumers  may feel overwhelmed by the immense technological developments exposed to us, I ultimately believe that society is in fact leading technology to benefit us all.
